The History Of The United States Of America

There are about roughly 200 recognised countries in the world, and we have this count for quite a while now. Though there are so many countries around the globe, only a few countries continue to amaze us with everything that they do and the things that they have in the past. Here is one country that has never failed to let our jaws drop, and that country is the United States of America. Today we will see a different side of the history of the country.

A history that stirs jealousy:

If you are someone but American, you are probably surprised as to how a country that is just 250 years old is making miracles and has become the global superpower. That is the same reason why we are talking about the history of this nation. So it is not definitely like, one fine morning, out of the blue a group of people walked in and formed a nation. The Native Americans who later lived in North America lived there for more than 1000 years. They simply weren’t recognised as people with a proper place. These people according to the ancient history were also recognised as Red Indians.

Though they were fine with that unrecognised state, the British people didn’t let that happen. The started colonising the area, and they started moving into the place of these Native Americans. The American could do nothing but fight for their rights and liberty. The war of was led By George Washington, who later became its first president after the independence of the country. The war was simply magic, and that is how the American constitution was framed. It was such a revolutionary war in the history of America.

Industrialisation and Global power:

Unlike the rest of the world that started their life with soil and agriculture, the United States of America started out with industries. They picked up pace made an industrial revolution. Apart from making their own stuff they also developed safe and wise trade relationships with the countries around them. They started growing in population and gradually occupied a large part of the western world. They must have only worked hard for the first 150 years of their existence, and by the beginning of the 20th century, they emerged as a global power, and they make decisions for the entire global economy, quite surpassing the European economy.

The present USA

Today the USA dictates authority to the whole world and America is the super-power economy of the world. America has had its own tough time, and the Great Depression of 1921 is an unforgettable page in the books of American history. There was also a major dip in the year 2008, and many thought America wouldn’t get over. But the country survived all of this. Though there are a lot of countries in the world that are performing better than the US, it is the US dollar that fixes things in the global market.
